Calakmul is an ancient maya city from AD 250 and one of the most powerful ancient cities in mayan history. Located in Reserver de la Calakmul in Campeche, Mexico, it’s also 35km from the Guatamalan border.
Dhayah Fort is a piece of history and the only hilltop fort standing in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). This old fortification was built in the 18th century and is famous for being the last resistance point to the British expedition of 1819.
