Cabo Verde; My Journey Continues

Still on my quest for dual citizenship, I left Barbados for another country Nigerians can visit visa free which is Cabo Verde or Cape Verde.

Cabo Verde is a very unique place, it’s an island country located off the coast of Senegal in West Africa. The country has 9 islands namely; Sal, Santiago, Maio, Fogo, Boa Vista, Sao Vicente, Sao Antao, Santa Luzia, Brava.

Cape Verde is interesting for me because not only can I visit the country without a visa, Cape verde is also a member of the African union made up 55 member states located on the continent of Africa. This union has adopted a free union protocol that allows for free movement of people between the countries that make up the union, Nigeria being one of them.

I’m currently in Cabo Verde and I’ll be writing a series of posts about the island country to provide information to help anyone who needs to know more about the islands.
